Plot:
All 3 seasons have the same plot. Yankumi, which is Yamaguchi’s nickname from the first season, gets the same messy class of teenage boys. And as always no one likes her. But as soon as the teenagers get in trouble she’s there with her strength to take down all the Yakuza in Japan.
Yankumi is the hire of the Yakuza family. But she doesn’t want to be the 4th generation. She want to be a teacher.
Personal thoughts:
I really love this drama. It’s funny, and for me embarrassing at times, but I still an’t stop watching!
In the first season you get to meet Kuma, and he will follow through all the season and even pay a visit in the movie. The first season we also meet Sawada Shin, who I thought would come back in the next season, but he didn’t. Which I thought was a shame since he had such a part with Yankumi.
Anyhow, in the second season we meet Kat-Tun’s members kame and Jin! two rivals but ofcourse Yankumi is to the rescue! I love this season just as much as the first one. I love all seasons and can’t say that one season is better than the other. They all are equally good!
In the move we meet some of the students Yankumi had, Uchi from the first season, and Ryu from the second season. And all the cast from the third season. But also, there was a special episode that was aired after the third season, in which we meet a new group of teenagers who are going down the same path the third season’s 3-D guys did. And in the movie it all continues with these guys.

Cast:
Oguri Shun
Ikuta Toma
Horikita Maki
Mizushima Hiro
Plot:
Horikita Maki plays Ashiya Mizuki, a girl who lives in the US and one day decides to go to Japan to enroll at an all guy’s school to help Sano Izumi (Oguri Shun) to get back on track and start with high jumping again. Of course she can’t go to an all boy’s school as a girl, so she cuts her hair and dresses up as a boy. As she started the school she met Nakatsu Shuichi (Ikuta Toma) who eventually falls for Ashiya, and since he thinks she’s a guy, he starts to be suspicious against his own interest in the other gender. Ashiya starts to fall for Sano, but he’s being cold towards her and Nakatsu is battling his feelings towards Ashiya.
Meanwhile we’re watching this trinagle drama, we have the 3 dorms battling each other. (Dorm 1, dorm 2 and dorm 3. In which Nakatsu, Ahsiya and Sano are in dorm 2 where the athlete’s are, Dorm 1 are for the karate guys and dorm 3 are the theater guys). We have Mizushima Hiro who plays Dorm 2’s leader Nanba Minami, who’s a player with the girls. His uncle is the school’s nurse, and in one episode we get to meet his mother who works by the beach!
Personal thoughts:
I really love this drama! Ikuta Toma plays Nakatsu so well. (it will be hard to top his acting!) And I love Horikita Maki and Oguri Shun’s characters! And of course all the crazy extra effects that are used in the drama makes it so much funnier.
The drama is based on a comic book with the same name and was aired 2007. The drama has 12 episodes with an SP episode as well!
Anyone who has seen this drama must remember Nakatsu’s funny parts, such as standing on a table with panties on his head singing, and finding the pants along with a bra shouting out “ORE WA HOMO JA NAI!” Which means I am not homo! Just for that I give Nakatsu 5 out of 5! And the drama itself 5 out of 5. It’s totally my type of drama but I wished there was more SanoxAshiya moments!

Cast:
Inoue Mao
Matsumoto Jun
Oguri Shun
Matsuda Shota
Abe Tsuyoshi
Inoue Mao plays the poor high school student Makino Tsukushi, who is attending at a very high class school named Eitoku Gakuen. This school has 4 guys who are controlling the school, Domyouji Tsukasa (Matsumoto Jun) Hanazawa Rui (Oguri Shun) Nishikado Sojiro(Matsuda Shota) and Mimasaka Akira (Abe Tsuyoshi). These 4 guys call themselves Flower 4, or F4. If anyone annoys Domyouji, he sends out a red notice, which basically means that the student who gets the note, will be bullied until he drops out of the school.
Makino who doesn’t really have a friend in her school tries to stay with a low profile until graduation. But we all know that with a drama like this, that won’t happen!
One day at lunch she invites Sakurako to eat with her in the cafeteria. As Sakurako is going away with her tray she bumps into Domyouji and spills juice all over his shirt. And now our drama begin.
Makino stands up for Sakurako and soon she gets her own red notice and hell breaks loose for the poor girl. Makino takes out all her stress in the fire escape. Where she meets her first love Hanazawa Rui.
Soon Domyouji realizes that maybe he likes Makino. But Makino clearly doesn’t like Domyouji.
A little bit about the plot of the first season of Hana Yori Dango. it all spins on at season 2 where we meet a few new people and more drama!
of course I can’t give you so much of what happens in the 2nd season, but if you like the first season you will really love the 2nd season!
Personal opinion:
My friend tipped me of this drama, I honestly thought that I wouldn’t like it, but after watching the first episode I knew this was something I would love! It has my sense of humor. Love/humor/weirdness/awkwardness/cuteness and lovelyness!
I love how there’s a love triangle and squares and everything in between. When watching the drama you really are sitting on the edge of the couch or chair biting on your fingers or pulling your hair off because that girl is such an ass!
it’s so exciting to watch! And Matsumoto Jun really plays Domyouji Tsukasa really well!
I give this drama 5 out of 5. Just because it really is my type of drama and anyone who’s a jpop fan should watch it!
